Malaria is a preventable and treatable disease. Yet every two minutes a child dies of malaria and more than a billion people remain at risk. At TANA Netting we are committed to improve the lives of people threatened by malaria and other vector-borne diseases by providing cost-effective and high quality preventive products.
Our core product is the DawaPlus® 2.0 long-lasting insecticidal net (LLIN), which is recommended by the World Health Organization Pesticide Evaluation Scheme (WHOPES). Building on the success of these widely used LLINs, subsequent innovation has resulted in the new generation of DawaPlus® nets – DawaPlus® 3.0 and DawaPlus® 4.0 – using patented insecticide technology to improve efficacy of the nets.
TANA Netting is part of NRS International, a group of companies that develops and manufactures products for the humanitarian, development and public health sectors. We pride ourselves in manufacturing what we sell and adhere to sustainable and ethical business standards throughout our processes and supply chain. All our DawaPlus® products are manufactured at our ISO9001:2015 accredited state-of-the-art facility H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons (HSNDS), located in Lahore, Pakistan.
Expertise and partnerships
We have an extensive understanding of the needs of our end users and recognize the importance of quality products and solutions. We provide reliable logistical support to our clients from our Dubai head office to ensure the nets reach beneficiaries as quickly as possible, even in hard-to-reach destinations.
We are actively involved in global programs and partnerships for the improvement of vector control tools, policies, advocacy and program implementation. In addition, we are building partnerships with manufacturers in Africa to fulfil the DawaPlus® legacy of producing nets locally in the world’s malarious regions.
