What is malaria? |
Malaria is a disease that affects around 60 million Ugandans every year. It is caused by bites from malaria-carrying anopheles mosquitoes. Each year, between 70,000-110,000 Ugandan children die and many more suffer life-long medical problems from malaria. Symptoms include high fever, chills, fatigue, aches and pains. If you suspect you have malaria, see a doctor for treatment immediately!

| Tana Netting and Quality Chemicals Limited donate 1,000 DawaPlus® to United Way/Malaria No More in Uganda |

Tana Netting Co., Ltd., the mosquito netting experts, and Quality Chemicals Ltd., Uganda’s leading chemicals distributor, donated 1,000 DawaPlus® long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets (LLINs) to the Malaria No More program in Uganda. The donation, worth 12 million Uganda shillings (US$7,300), will protect hundreds of Uganda’s most vulnerable children from malaria.
