Bangkok - Tana Netting has recently decided to create a clear distinction between its activities related to the production and marketing of insecticidal mosquito nets and the activities involving the insect repellent impregnation of garments. Currently the insecticidal mosquito nets are sold under the brand name DAWA^®PLUS. DAWA^®PLUS is widely known as one of the most effective long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets. On the other hand, the insect repellent impregnated products were marketed under the DAWA^®REPEL brand, which on January 1, 2012 changed into INSECTPRO-TEX^®.

The main reason for the change of brand name from DAWA^®REPEL to INSECTPRO-TEX^® is to avoid confusion between the netting activities and the impregnated garment activities. In addition, the new brand name, INSECTPRO-TEX^® being an acronym of INSECT PROtection TEXtiles clearly indicates what product and services are covered by the brand and the name is easy to remember.

INSECTPRO-TEX^® is a factory based insect repellent compound for textiles. The products and services that Tana Netting is providing under the INSECTPRO-TEX^® brand are fully catered towards the needs of its customers. The impregnated textiles may be supplied as finished products and alternatively the insect repellent impregnation may also be provided as a service.
